MENFRI 2004

Mirabile's 'Super-Sicilian' is a Nero d'Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat blend. Aromas of pine cones, graphite, eucalyptus and violets complement the rich dark fruits nose and continue on the palate. The wine is only 50% barriqued and maintains a lively personality and clear delineation in a region which can often produce overly-ripe, jammy, soupy wines, lacking in structural complexity. Only 4,500 bottles made.
