Tenuta J. Hofstatter, Trentino - Alto Adige
Inky, smoky, ash almost, graphite, like an iron grate on the nose. Cherry and tobacco on the palate with chalky bite and a peppery, herbaceous finish. A fireside wine - bitter chocolate and black tea.
